Founded by husband-and-wife art patrons Natalie Kates and Fabrizio Ferri

KATES-FERRI PROJECTS was conceived in 2020 as a nomadic artist residency with partnerships across New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Since then, KATES-FERRI PROJECTS has launched and supported many emerging artists, while building a diverse and engaged community of art lovers. Our program focuses on Latin, Artists of Color, Queer and Female Artists. We look to inspire and reimagine the future of art creation and collaboration while promoting a more inclusive and sustainable arts eco system.

Starting in 2022 KATES-FERRI PROJECTS opened their anchor location at 561 Grand Street, NYC, in the heart of the Lower East Side - a creative community that continues to serve as a cultural and artistic incubator. Then, in summer 2023 we expanded our space to include 563 Grand Street. Going forward, the “main” gallery at 561 Grand Street will host our new exhibitions, while the new space at 563 Grand Street (informally called the “The B-side”) will be a viewing room with works from our existing artists or will be used for special projects, artist residencies, guest curated exhibitions, and other programming.
KATES-FERRI PROJECTS has been a NADA Gallery Member since August 2023
